About William Harvey

William Harvey was born 1874 in Stirling. He began writing his lectures/books on Freemasonry during the first years of the 20th century. His ‘Complete Manual of Freemasonry’ (Harvey
Ritual) was first published in 1917 and is still being reprinted today. His other little booklets can be considered as his contribution to what
could be described as Masonic Chapbooks and can still be found in various formats and presented as lectures in many lodges. William died of a heart attack on 05 Jul 1936 in a nursing home on the Perth Road, Dundee.
