About John Goodwin

In 2004 John Goodwin retired from a directorship of a Construction Industry PLC based in London. His aim: to pursue the good life in sunny Cyprus and indulge his passion for writing. Along with successful publication of many short stories, poems and essays in local English language periodicals and a regular column for a magazine in Dubai he has written two novels to date. A third is in development. An early version of ‘The Last Olympiad’ was long listed in the UK Authors opening pages competition and his Poem ‘Monochrome Monday’ was runner up in an international poetry competition.

A cracking good read, in the vein of Patterson, or Silva. A topical plot, with some interesting twists and turns.Well worth a read.
