I am a freelance writer and editor. I am father of two boys. For the last few years I have focussed my writing interest on chronicling women and men’s experience of childbirth and promoting better support for pregnant women and their partners. Recently, for a change of pace, I am writing two Australian history books. In 2014 I was elected Chair of the ACT Writers Centre.
In 2010 I established the Stringybark Short Story Awards to promote the short story as a literary form.

Laughter is a bit rare now that Tony Abbott is in charge. Thank goodness that this little anthology exists to cheer up my day. Funny, poignant and at times outrageous. I don't agree with Micky Smit's review below - I laughed out loud quite a few times. Maybe this shows how well balanced the collection in. Well worth a read.

This is a five star read. The title story is hilariously clever. Good work Martin Lindsay. The rest of the stories aren't really laugh out loud tales but ones that make you smile and feel good. Holly Bruce's story, "Tech Know" is scarily prescient. This is a quality e-book that deserves a decent audience.
