About David Weiner

David Weiner was born in San Antonio, Texas, to a Polish-Jewish immigrant father and a Mexican-American mother who converted to Judaism. He graduated with honors from Tulane University with majors in History and Philosophy, and he went on to graduate from St. Mary's University School of Law. Today, he lives with his wife in Dallas, where he is a practicing attorney specializing in civil appeals. David's poetry and other writings have appeared in Moment, the Texas Jewish Post, the San Antonio Express-News, and Texas Lawyer. THE NAME OF HIS FATHERS is his first novel.
