About Phyllis Capanna

Phyllis Capanna is an occupational therapist and counseling psychotherapist, who works with groups and individuals on the healing path. Weaving together strands from transpersonal psychology, shamanism, and recovery, she helps clients to connect with their own sources of Universal wisdom and healing.

Phyllis is also a songwriter and frame drummer. She has written numerous songs and performed with many fine musicians over the years. Two albums, Simply Fine with Wheatstone Bridge and Don't tell James with Purple Martin, contain some of her original songs.

An INFJ, Phyllis Spends most of her time writing, playing music, tending various gardens (both soil-based and intentional), and mentoring, counseling and advising. She refuels, both physically and energetically, by cooking locally sourced whole foods ina trusty cast iron skillet.

She hangs with her peeps, one human and two cats, and a stellar group of family and friends in central Maine, USA, and beyond.
