About Ethan Collins

Ethan Collins works as a pilot for a National Air Carrier. He resides in Arizona with his wife plus two children, Jack (10) and Stacy (6). Once per month during summer Ethan flies Jack to their favorite beach in California. When he’s not in the cockpit Ethan has a passion for writing. Collins writes stories that hinge upon difficult relationships. The Diamond Party is this author’s second novel but his first published by Church Publishing.

Collins planned that earlier on-again/off-again masterpiece to be his only book written but because writing is a hobby and Ethan marginalized his pen behind a busy work-travel schedule and love of his family that book is not complete. Collins hopes to finish it someday and, as pilots get trained to be meticulous planners, Ethan optimistically plots a third story for children set in West Africa in time for his daughter Stacy’s kids to enjoy.

Collins was discovered on a transatlantic flight after Author Cosmo Starlight read some of the pilot’s short stories and promised to forward Ethan’s notebooks to his publisher, Church. The Diamond Party began as one of those stories but quickly evolved into a full length novel about boys who take advantage of girls, men who take advantage of goodwill, and a society depending upon evil to get things done.
