About Josephine Dillon

4/4/14 I just finished Volume 7, yay! I will be editing it for the next few weeks and plan on a May 1st release date. It will be free to download here on Smashwords for two weeks after release, so hope you all like it!! My gift to all of you Blue Series readers out there, just continue with those amazing reviews :) Love them!!!

3/20/14 I'm about halfway through Volume 7. It's gotten big, as each book in The Blue Series has over the past several years. I truly am trying to finish the series, but it seems to snowball and go on, which I've been told is a good thing, so that's good. I may need to write another book after this one, so there may even be a Volume 8. If you are interested in reading teasers from Volume 7, go to my facebook page and like my series! I post frequently and enjoy the feedback. I'm expecting this book, already titled "Blue Heaven" to be published before June, because I'm already at almost 70,000 word count, 250pgs done, which is why I'm beginning to wonder if I can finish the series at this point with what I have left to write. The curse of a series writer, knowing when to stop or not is a tricky one, isn't it?

1/29/14 I wrote Chapter 1 of Volume 7, the last book in the Blue Series today. After receiving numerous emails and facebook posts from readers saying the same thing: the ending in Volume 6, True Blue, left many of them asking, "What happened to the main characters?" I left the ending like this for two reasons: first, I wanted to end the story with an open interpretation, hoping the reader could take the story to wherever he/she wanted it to go. Second, I wanted to eventually get back to the story in time, if I ever had the inkling to continue some of the storyline in the distant future. Now that I've received many readers' critiques and inquiries about the story's ending, I feel as though I need to answer the questions and give those interested a sense of completion to my series (and I'm very flattered by the way, to know that I've reached out and touched some of you with my story). So, I should have Volume 7 published by Summer, 2014 and then it's onto another fun writing project :)

Bio: As a novice writer, I wrote the first three books from The Blue Series during the years 2006 through 2009. I wrote Into The Blue over a six month period in 2012 and have recently finished Back To Blue, Volume 5 a few months ago. I am currently writing the seventh book in the series if you count Beyond The Blue as two books.

I grew up in Oceanside, California, attended and survived Vista High School, and did attempt twice in one lonely summer, to drown at Oceanside Beach. I desperately wanted to be a boy as a child and teenager and envied my two brothers for their gender. I was considered a loner, didn't have any friends, so I created the story as a means of escape. It worked most of the time and I have to admit, it kept me out of trouble.

Josephine does it again. In this next-to-last episode (or so she says) we see just about all major characters develop in ways and directions more epic than in all previous parts combined. Some developments may have been foreseeable, but to be honest, most weren't, at least not for me. Gripping from beginning to (quite abrupt) ending.

What will the conclusion bring ? I don't know, and be it a happy Walt Disney ending where 2 of the blues live happily ever after or one with a cataclysmic destruction, I'm sure I'll enjoy it. Just as long as it gets a proper ending !

BTW : I had some technical glitch in the .mobi version where the last 5 chapters where in all italics...
