This book, like the other books that this author has written, is for those who would like to be prompted to think about subjects they ordinarily might not take the time to consider. My Grandparents' Last War is a book about humanity, life and our own humble beginnings.
When reading this you can insert your own opinions and beliefs and really turn this book into something personal. I enjoyed the way the characters were simple, and yet there is a hidden complexity to this work that makes you stop to ponder what it means on an individual basis.
I like the fantasy element of this work and the way the author uses simple yet effective illustrations to convey his point. If you have not read this book yet, pick up a copy and give it a try, it is unique and worth the time.
