This excerpts publication only provides some insight into the Author's thoughts on fly casting but having now obtained and worked through the hard copy of "Learn to Fly-cast in a Weekend" it has proven to be one of the best investments in my fly fishing. I now understand how casting works and have a variety of exercises which have proven extremely useful. My casting has never been better and even when faults arise I can readily identify where the problem lies and correct it. If you want to improve your casting I cannot recommend the full book enough.
