I just finished reading this book and I must say that I was in tears for most of this experience. I am currently deeply in love with a Bar Girl and this book has shown me a side of her that she is not willing to talk about. The details may not be the same, but I now understand much more of her life and possible history. It has made me love her all the more. I remember being in a bar in Soi Cowboy, the only one I ever visited to be honest, and seeing the girls up on the stage. I remember thinking at the time that they seemed to be so unhappy with their lives... bored and hating their work. This book has enlightened me about their lives and the reason many of them are in that line of work.

I highly recommend this book to any guy who visits GoGo bars or has any feelings at all for the girls that are there to give you pleasure. If you, like me, fall in love with one of the girls, then this is vital reading. You will understand her much better after reading this book.

Thank you David, for an excellent book. It has helped change my life and make me a little wiser and compassionate.
