About Kris Pearson

If it's fine, Kris gardens. If it's wet, she writes. And if the writing's going well, the garden can look after itself...

Kris writes sizzling contemporary romances, and is the current membership secretary for Romance Writers of New Zealand. Her first six books are set at least partly in the capital city of Wellington so she can make use of the beautiful harbor in the plots. These books make up her 'Wicked in Wellington' series. There's a boxed set of three to save you money, and the first two have just been translated into Spanish. More to follow!

She's also written the 'Heartlands' series - the girls who live deep in the New Zealand countryside. There's 'Her Man with Iceberg Eyes' and 'Christmas Holiday Husband', and 'More than the Money'. She's currently writing the second of her 'Sheikhs of Al Sounam' series.

Kris has written all her life - from her autobiography at twelve, to her own special wedding service, to short stories published in mass-circulation magazines and broadcast on National Radio in New Zealand. She has a background as an advertising copywriter and a decor specialist.

During the past eight years she's produced a selection of racy romantic novels, and publishing them through Smashwords has been the ideal answer to share them with the world.

Kris Pearson - I adore your work! Her Man with Iceberg Eyes was absolutely fabulous!

If you are a reader who enjoys picturesque landscape descriptions, believable, realistic dialogue, captivating storyline, and sensual sex scenes, talented New Zealand author Kris Pearson is for you.

Bubbly Kate Pleasance needed a new vocation that preferably included a new location too. Accepting an interview to work with Charlotte McLeod; a job advertised as 'Superwoman Wanted', seemed ideal. What she hadn't expected was the instant attraction to Mr Matthew McLeod - the man with the sensual mouth"she could imagine quirking humorously, snarling with displeasure, or kissing like the devil." The unattainable man, with the hypnotic eyes, she was dangerously attracted to.

Matthew McLeod, after spending a few hours with the gorgeous beauty, Kate; despite her passionate and feisty nature, her obvious choice as best job candidate; was determined to keep her at arms length, guarding his heart. "He needed her as an employee, but he also wanted her as a woman." He feared she had only come on a mission to ruin him. However, he had a wicked sense of humor, was incorrigibly naughty, and couldn't resist teasing her outrageously. (I therefore, couldn't help but adore him!)

Though the plot wasn't necessarily unpredictable, there were still elements of surprise, and many times to laugh with the entertaining wit. Supporting characters given ample time to provide appropriate fill. Matthew using his charcoal pencils; I couldn't help but hold my breath and shudder. Phew!

The sexual tension was lavish, the heat between the Matthew and Kate, sizzling.
"She spread her fingers, sensuously massaging his firm flesh. God, he was beautiful. Hot and hard and utterly male. She wanted him now...Wanted him fiercely and desperately."
So, if you want more of that, grab this delightful romance. It's free on many e-book sites until the end of May! In a word - delicious!
