Lord Henry Ravenwood enjoys his comfortable life working for the same firm as his father did before him, and taking care of his younger sister, Isabel. All of that changes at the arrival of a letter:
"Lady Cordelia Bennington requests the pleasure of your company and introduction to Portsmouth Society as the surviving children of Sarah Mae Bennington Ravenwood."
Henry believes the letter to be a hoax, since they were led to believe they had no living relatives, but Isabel's excitement cannot be so easily stamped out.
Relenting, Henry sends Isabel ahead to the manor, but what happens from there is a descent into madness that you must read to believe. This book is a spooky mystery that will keep you turning the pages until you learn the truth for yourself. Is Henry crazy or do the dead claim their own?
