About Siobhan Harper

Siobhan Harper is a freelance writer, proofreader and transcriber living in Birmingham, England. Like many people these days, she works at a Birmingham university by day, to allow her to pursue the above duties by night. This means that most of the time she can be found glued to a computer screen, overdosing on caffeine and smashing the life out of her keyboard.

Siobhan has worked for many and varied organisations during her working life, including stints in retail, callcentres, and even a Catholic children's retreat centre. She studied Theology and Creative Writing at Newman University, which according to friends makes her perfectly qualified to create a cult.

She has blogged for and contributed to many websites over the last few years, many of which have sadly shut down or disappeared from the net. However, her work at Zombie Outbreak, Mookychick, and BitchBuzz is still available to view. Her portfolio can be found over on Pinterest.

Siobhan has recently published her first short story, The Chained Oak, as an ebook on Amazon and Smashwords. She will have more fiction work coming out very soon.

Siobhan has a special interest in horror fiction, gaming, feminism, religion, collecting, and technology.
