Review by: David Blake on June 08, 2013 :
I liked some of the ideas in this story and the prose was generally very good, but the ending confused me somewhat and I had to re-read it a couple of times to work out exactly what had happened. I don't think it was quite as clear as it should have been. Would have been a 4, but because I had to re-read bits to understand it, only a 3.

As a whole, I felt the story lacked tension. Neither the situation nor the characters drew me in; I had a hard time caring what the outcome might be. Despite the main character claiming to be a professional thief, I got the impression he was a very poor one. Toward the ending, the action and the perspective jumped around to the point of inconsistent obscurity. That being said, it was still an interesting story concept.
