Dave Schwensen has been an entertainment journalist writing about comedy and music since 1993 with articles published in the United States, Canada and Japan. His reviews, interviews, and behind the scenes exclusives have included entertainers such as Paul McCartney, Bill Cosby, Ray Romano, Britney Spears, Reba McEntire, Dave Chappelle, Jeff Foxworthy, Garth Brooks, Drew Carey, The Monkees and many others.
Dave was talent coordinator for the television show "A&E's An Evening at the Improv" and the Hollywood and New York Improv Comedy Clubs. While in Hollywood he was also the assistant to Improv founder Budd Friedman and worked as a talent adviser for numerous television programs, networks and film studios.
Dave is a nationally recognized comedy coach with workshops, comedy business seminars and private coaching. He is an award winning humor columnist, pop culture historian and lecturer, and Pinnacle Award winner for educational video conferences in pop culture and communication skills.
