About Amanda Surowitz

From her earliest days, Amanda Jean Surowitz has been a gypsy in spirit. A jack of all trades...a renaissance woman. Her first career choice was not to be a writer, but a scientist. She was first inspired after reading some of her brother's stories to write one of her own, even though she was just in middle school. Two years later she had her first finished book and had the desire to make writing her life. Now a full-time student with the Savannah College of Art and Design, Amanda divides her time between Georgia and Virginia. She lives with her family, a little Celtic gnome that inhabits her work space, some fairies and a few dragons.*

Review by: David Blake on June 06, 2013 :
A decent story which questions what constitutes justice. Quite well written, characterisation was certainly there but it was a little lacking in terms of description - what did things/people/places look/sound/smell like?

I wanted to like this story, but it was overwritten and melodramatic.
