This is a delightful novel about three children, Colin, Spike, and Rhea. They love the challenge of solving a good mystery, and Mr. Eadie, the author, places these three in some pretty scary places and they encounter many hair-raising experiences as they try to solve the mysteries of Horwood House and of the man who had the strange, massive house built a hundred years ago, Zuhayer Bombast Horwood. The reader will meet many more fascinating, unforgettable characters in this novel, the first in a series of three novels thus far.
