Rebecca (Beck) Stockdale is an unusual young woman. Her parents call her a freak because she wants to study parapsychology. Beck's older sister Bev and "The Man" have been her constant supports through out her life in ways that her parents never will be. Beck's life changes the day "The Man" decides to tell her who he really is to her. Beck's life will never be the same again and she likes it that way. "The Man" is really Richard Beck's mate. Richard is really a vampyre and knows that to drink Beck's blood is poison to him and other vampyre's like him. Richard tells Beck that his all alone except for his brother Leso since the rest of his family is dead. Beck wants to change this for Richard and Leso for all the happiness they've brought her. Only one thing can put a damper on this idea vampyre named Elderson. Can Beck truly bring back Richard and Leso's family? How is this accomplished? What about Elderson? Your answers await you in The Undead Heart.

I loved the vampyre lore presented in this story! It follows most of traditional vampyre lore but with truly unique twists not yet explored by other authors. Hands down the best character in this story has to be Beck. She literally does not put up with other people's personal hang ups which other people stumble over into big drama. I appreciate how the author handle alot of aspects in this story that could have been real stumbling blocks. I look forward to the next installment in the series.

I was given this book to write an honest review.
I found the undead heart very entertaining. The book was very different to what i've read previously and found this to be a refreshing change.
The author did fantastic job with the idea this book, I loved the style of writing and found it easy to follow.
I feel the authorhor did a fantastic job with the characters and they worked together. The characters were very likable and all individual in their characteristics. There were many times throughout the book that I found myself laughing at some of the comments Beck made, she has a brill personality and fun character. As for Robert what a lovely guy, he waited so long for the love of his life but got there in the end.
A great read! Looking forward to book two

I was asked to give an honest review of this book.

Overall I thought the book was "ok." There needed to be more character development. For instance, Beck immediately warmed up to the idea of this vampire and accepted his explanation of them being married. BOOM. They were in bed together (even though she had a traumatic experience with being raped). The storyline also needed some developing as well. The beginning came quickly... the middle dragged on. There were pages and pages with nothing major happening.

Beck got on my nerves. Edward was way too jealous, ALL THE TIME. We waited until the VERY end for something to happen and then it was over and we were left with a cliffhanger.

I think the book was a tad bit too long, it took me some time to finish it. I wanted to like it, and at some points I did. But it could use some fine tuning.

I was given this book in exchange for an honest review (Lop)

This was a good story with a different twist which made it a nice change of pace. I enjoyed the back story on all the characters, I felt like I was getting to know everyone right along with Beck. There were a few parts that I didn't much care for but it didn't take away from me enjoying the rest of the story. Beck is a strong girl who has been through a lot in her life and fights for her extended family. I can not wait to read the next book to see what happens next, all I can say is cliff hanger!!

I got this book from the author, free of cost in exchange of an honest review from my part. I'm glad that I got the opportunity of reviewing this great book. Thank you Stephanie Jackson!

The plot and story line is unique and the characters are 'just fab!'. The writing really impressed me a lot, no use of bombarding vocabulary but still it has got the essence of an enriched writing which really eases the reading of the readers.

The author synchronized the old days mysterious and superstitious world with the modern world along with its open mindedness and technology. You'll find Richard as old school whereas Beck is a totally modernized up to date girl but the chemistry between them will leave you speechless!

In this series I got the cream of sensational romance, heart wrenching emotions and exciting suspense and anticipation which will drive you crazy and you will bite all your nails off for sure.

I was totally overwhelmed by this book and it really satisfied the expectations I had from it.

But my excitement was dulled a little because of the third person POV! If it was written from the POV of Beck ( the main character) then it would have been really great! It often became a little confusing in understanding the actual speaker of the dialogue but the good points really outweighs the bad points for sure!

I don't want to ruin the element of surprise and the suspense and excitement of the readers who have approached this book already or are keen to give it a shot so I'm not adding any spoilers in my review. Hope ya all enjoy it as much as I did.

I really liked reading The Undead Heart! The characters are very well developed and the plot is captivating. There were several spots where spelling & grammar needs to be corrected, but it was still easy to read through, at least for me. I look forward to reading book Two!

I didn't give this book a chance and when I did I fell in love with it. This was an amazing book. It took me a while to get into it. like 2 months while, but when I sat down and finally made myself read more then 3 chapters I was hooked! The characters in this novel are so realistic. And the description in it is amazing. I can't wait until I get some time to give book 2 a proper shot too. (update read it and reviewed it. AMAZING!! And I cannot wait until the wrath of potter)

An interesting, well thought out concept, with plenty of action. All the characters are vividly described and I found the use of reincarnation and time travel, to reunite the main couple, both of whom are volatile, plausible, plausible and creditable. The way vampires are portrayed is refreshing. I was particularly impressed with the way they, along with those who had previously hunted them, changed their attitudes and opinions towards each other. Human qualities and individuality are clearly expressed, the small, endearing touches adding to the realism.

At first, when I saw that this was about vampires and romance, I immediately thought: this must be another Twilight...I got to say that I'm glad I past through prejudice because I actually enjoyed this book. It sure has romance, vampires and stuff, but it also has this kind of unique way to show paranormal romance, in a human way. This book has something that will catch you no matter what: from emotions that can resemble ours, to incredible fights that will make you catch your breathe.

My Thoughts - 5 out of 5 unicorns - I absolutely loved this book!!

If you are a paranormal romance reader, this book is a must read!! The only thing I couldn't stand was not having enough time due to working to read it straight through!! I can't wait to start the next book in this series. This book of course has romance but it also was funny, had sadness, time traveling, serial killer, crazy people, vengeance, fights, vomiting, adoption of adults, weddings, and did I mention funny and romance. This book was an awesome surprise like waking up without an arm that was there when you went to sleep kind of surprise. I can't even begin to put into words why I loved it so much because it would ruin your journey, and I wouldn't want to take that from you. I absolutely love Beck and Richard and their entire family :) This author just hit my favorite list, and I will read all her PNR books :) Definitely worth the read and recommended to all PNR fans!!!

The Undead Heart (#1 in The Blood Thirst Series)
I love this book! From the first page eluding to mysterious "The Man", I could not stop reading it, I was hooked.
This book takes you on a fantastic journey through a woman's life, making the paranormal and impossible seem like normal everyday life. From time travel, living with a different kind of vampire, and introducing new ideas and "people", this book opens up a new world. A world that feels like our own, including meeting Jack the Ripper (scary). I felt like I was really living her life with her. This book has something for everyone; action, romance, thrills, scares.
The emotional roller coaster is so worth the ride!! I want more.
