Calista is 16 year old girl who is deaf. Her and her family moves to a new town. She is unhappy about the move and leaving all her friends. Upon arriving at their new home she senses that there is something off about the house, she soon discovers that the house her family live in is haunted by its previous owners.
She soon falls for John who is a ghost, but falling for him is dangerous and puts her and her family in danger.
I really enjoyed this book I liked the mystery surrounding some of the characters and the romance between Calista and John. I love how J. S Wilsoncroft described the characters especially John he sounded edible. I like that Calista isn't your normal main character.
I enjoyed seeing how her brother Mike was with her going from this big brother who liked to pay her out to this caring, and understanding brother.
I recommend this book I found it hard to put down, I really enjoy books like this. I liked how it ended. I would have liked a little more dialogue but it's understandable given that the main character is deaf.
Thank you for letting me read and review this book!

Story about a Deaf girl moving far away from her friends and school after her mom was held at knife point at the school she was working at. Calista moved to an old house with her Mom, Dad and brother only to find it Haunted. Calista meets John (ghost) after he starts to read her ASL book to learn how to sign so he can talk to her. John and his sister Holly were both killed in the house by their horrible Stepmother Gloria. who then killed herself. I don't want to give to much of the story away but this is a great Love story. Anyone that has just read the synopsis I would highly recommend reading the full book. If you like reading about ghosts and romance then this is the book for you. Its not your typical Ghost Story or Romance story but a fantastic read none the less.
