Liked the writing and story line for most of it. Story felt a bit rushed towards the last half, but didn't detract. If you let go of expectation about what constitutes reasonable character development and responses, then you should enjoy it. I did, and enjoyed the story for it.

It just goes to show how people’s perceptions can be misguided and misjudged...even of people they’ve never met before. I especially liked the contrast between the woman’s initial thoughts regarding the guy and how we eventually learn the truth and the two characters fall in love in a really sweet way.

Sorting through my Kindle, I came upon this story again. Reading it a second time, I enjoyed it more. It is perfect, and once again the end was sweet. There is no doubt that I would have continued reading if it was longer. I loved the chemistry between them.

The writing is awkward in places (I almost didn't make it past the first paragraph) but things got better as it went along. It's a short paranormal romance story with non-human characters and a nice ending. Give it a try.
