About Brooke Santina

My first novel, Dishrags to Dirtbags, is hitting the shelves and I couldn't be more excited! I'm a wife, mother and deputy sheriff by day, fiction writer by night (and on the weekends, holidays and every other spare moment).

All my life, I've wished that there was something special I could offer the world, something marketable, but nothing about me was unique. Then I went to the police academy and got a job working in a jail, and I found people were fascinated by stories of even my most mundane experiences. This gave me an idea. My novel is my offering, truly a book nobody else could write, based on my knowledge of the police world and desire to empower others to take a chance. I hope you enjoy it.
