About D.I. Telbat

David I. Telbat is a Christian author who writes in many genres, but especially Christian action-adventure, espionage, and suspense. He wrote his first novel at age 14, and hasn't stopped since!

Telbat's Tablet, David's website/blog (, offers FREE weekly Christian action, adventure, and suspense short stories, or serialized novels. On his site, he also shares weekly his author reflections on different subjects, his writing experiences, and occasional challenges to the Christian Church. You will find a list of publishing credits and awards onsite, as well, which includes print and digital publications, and anthologies.

D.I. Telbat has written a series of four covert, Christian suspense novels in The COIL Series, as well as standalone novels Sea Scribe, God's Colonel, and Jaguar Dusk. He has a free collection of shorts stories for download as well, called COIL Extractions.

Getting into trouble with the law as a young man became a turning point in David's life. The Lord used that experience to draw David into a personal relationship with Him. Re-focusing his life for Christ, David now seeks to honor God with his life and his writing.

Because of his interest in the Persecuted Church and missions, many of D.I. Telbat's stories are about persecuted Christians--their hardships, sacrifices, and rescues. Many of his novels include espionage and sometimes spiritual battles.

David studied writing in college, and worked in the newspaper field, but now he is doing what he loves: writing and ministry. When not busy with ministry, he focuses on writing novels, short stories, blog posts, and curriculum for prison ministries.

Though now living in California, he has kept his home office in the Northwest U.S. where his assistant, Dee, lives and helps with his writing and editing needs.

There is no redemption without sacrifice.

The key to an excellent action adventure book is one that starts out with more questions than answers; Sea Scribe is such a book.

• What happens when Laura believes she hits someone while driving under the influence of alcohol and decides to run?
• What Happens when Troy starts out on a trip that he has planning for years to carry out a God given purpose and not only encounters Laura but a few other individuals?
• Will the underground network be revealed to the authorities?
You will be unable to stop reading, compelled to read more as you try to connect all of the dots of this adventure in the Ocean. How does a man on a solo mission have so many visitors, including a cat?

Sea Scribe by D.I. Telbat goes beyond action, adventure and Christian Fiction which should capture the attention of anyone who craves a well written book. If you have never read a book by D. I. Telbat you are in for a treat when you read Sea Scribe .

One of the reasons why I appreciate D.I.Telbat as an author is his ability to present a truth regarding religious persecution without being preachy. He is by far my favorite author and I always make room to review one of his books. Sadly as with : Dark Hearted, Dark Liason and Dark Rule are in eBook form so is Sea Scribe , I would love to have these books in print on my book shelf.
I recommend that you purchase Sea Scribe .

Sea Scribe by D.I. Telbat is a fantastic read. It seems with each of D.I. Telbat’s books I read he is becoming one of my favorite authors.
In each book there are several stories in one. I loved all of the different people and stories involved in Sea Scribe, but the part I really did love is the story of Ho Kichun. How he sacrifices and survives on his own, with only the Lords help. It’s amazing the miracles that happens and how he makes it day by day.
Troy and Laura are so different, but when tragedies happen it brings people together. They are really good for each other and learn to depend on each other.
I really like how at the beginning of this story Troy starts out alone, but before the book is over he has a whole host of friends and helpers.
I really love this story it is so full of adventure and suspense. I couldn’t stop reading because it was that good. Even though I couldn’t read it fast enough I didn’t want it to end. What a fantastic author D.I. Telbat is. I highly recommend Sea Scribe. Also I simply LOVED the ending.
