About Lauren Pearce

Lauren was born in Campbelltown in Sydney's south-west. She started writing at age fourteen and has since developed a crippling obsession. After the family-conducted intervention failed, she was shortlisted for several awards including the Sydney Morning Herald Young Writer of the Year (2011 & 2012) and the John Marsden Prize (2012). She is currently editing her first novel and reading Literature and Australian Literature at the University of Sydney.
