Born and raised in France, Benoît Duché lived in New York where he directed a famous French haute couture house in North America, in the early eighties. As Vice President and Director of this prestigious 'griffe', he managed all women’s and men’s fashion operations, negotiating contracts with manufacturers and distributors as well as personally handling advertising and PR programs.
Previously, after studying management in France, he worked in market research and advertising in Paris with large accounts, then created his own company where he developed computer graphics and websites as well as conception, realisation and editing of documentary and commissioned films for corporations and public organisations.
While directing films for UNESCO in Africa, he created the ‘Values Based Micro Credit’ (VBMC) in Congo with the particularity of an interest paid in time by women who share the values (responsibility, honesty, respect…) that they have implemented in their new activity.
As an artist he exhibited in 2007 some of his watercolours at the gallery Etienne de Causans, rue de Seine, in Paris and granted the profits to the VBMC in Congo.
