Review by: Ralph Smith on June 16, 2014 :
The Champion is two stories, the first the be careful what you ask for and the second a deeper story of trusting in God.

Harris is a pastor, who like many of us, wants a greater purpose in life. For better or worse he gets one. As is too often true God opens a door for us then we think we know how to do things better. Harris is no different. It is only when he finally lets go and follows Gods plan that things finally work out for him.

This book is a fast paced, fun, and at the same time hits on some deep issues. If you are looking for a good story that gives you something meaningful to reflect on you won’t go wrong. I am looking forward to reading the sequel.

This is a great book. The Book is about a pastor asking God to use him anyway he wants. This is a 3 book series get all three books it is worth it. All of the books that I have read by Glen Robinson are great. I first read If Tomorrow Comes in the original paper back, This book is just as good as If Tomorrow Comes.
