About Wayne Hicks

Well, they tell me I need to say a bit about myself, here, so here goes!

I was born in St. Louis in 1955, and grew up in a small town in Southern Illinois. There, the same imagination that makes me a talented writer today often got me into trouble. Thankfully, I survived, and some of my early adventures have helped to shape my life and, and now my work.

Over the years, I've held a number of jobs; I've been in law enforcement, sales, advertising, and auto repair, and served as a banker, reporter, radio talk show host, music producer, song writer, theatrical, movie and video producer, truck driver, taxi driver...well, you get the picture, right?

And then, a few years ago, I ran afoul of the IRS, and found myself serving a five year sentence in Federal Prison for a tax offense. I'd written a number of short stories, poems and other things over the years, but I'd never felt I had time to write a novel. Well, all of a sudden, I had lots of time, so one day I sat down and started writing! And guess what? I found out what I should have been doing all along. I think that's the real secret to happiness... find out what you love to do, and do it, even if it takes you your whole life!

From Prison to Publishing!
I'm looking forward to the release of my first few novels in the next couple of months, and I've already got several more planned and in progress! The way I see it, I'm only 58 years old. So, okay, I'm getting into the game a little late, but I've got enough years left to get a lot of writing done, and the way I'm going I might catch up to some of the big guys!

But writing isn't all I'm about. My experiences in the entertainment industry have left him with a love for movies, so I plan to produce Independent movies of his books for Internet broadcast. I've already partnered up with a screenwriter who is hard at work on adaptations of The Very Swift Witches and Promise of Magic even now!

Watch this spot for details. And if you've ever dreamed of being in movies...well, there's a lot of undiscovered talent out there, so I'll be looking for new faces to cast as these characters I love so much.

You never know. Could be your big break, eh?

I was a church goer my whole life, until I realized that the church I was in wasn’t for me. I still believe but haven’t been in church in years because I just can’t find one where I fit. I recently moved across the state which caused a great deal of stress on me. About a month ago I got the urge to pick up my bible, hoping to find some peace within myself. Only when I started reading I was lost and confused. I set out on a journey to find some books to help me understand what exactly I was reading. Then I found The New Revolution of Truth.

The New Revolution of Truth by Wayne Hicks is just what I have been looking for! It makes it so much easier to understand. The way this is broken down and written I completely understand! It makes so much more sense to me now. I have recommended this book to all of my friends, and even convinced my husband to read it. I am ready to find a new church in my new town. Of course I will bring this book with me, and share it with all of my new friends.

I was undecided about this book. On one hand, Wayne Hicks has become one of my favorites, on the other hand,I've never really embraced any one religion. I do believe in a higher being, but what that being is I'm really not sure. I believe in a form of reincarnation, but not exactly reincarnation. I believe in spirits, but not in the ghost types of spirit. I believe in the spirits of our ancestors if that makes sense, but not angels. Anyhow, I'm getting off topic. I was afraid that reading this would confuse an already confused me. My respect for Wayne Hicks is my reason for reading this. My respect for Wayne is also why I like it! Wayne passes this on in a fashion that's easy to follow, unlike other books of this genre.

"Because all life is of My Spirit, and each spirit gives life to its matter for a time, then all life is precious to Me."

I've heard this before, but I've never followed its meaning. Hicks tells the origin story in a way that grabbed my attention and made me want to continue reading. I've heard of sins, as has everyone, but I've learned about where they began. Never have I learned this, and if i did, it wasn't something I retained. I'm not ashamed to admit it, but am dumbfounded that I have had such shaky faith in the past.

"Before you were born, I knew you, for you are part of Me. When I parted you out of My Spirit, I gave you life; and when I placed you in the newly-conceived flesh that is your body, I gave you your individuality. From that moment, you became a separate person, more than a part of Me; you became yourself"

Have you ever read, saw, or heard something that stuck out at you? Without being able to put your finger on it, but just knew, it was put there for you to see for a reason? The above notation gave me chills. Well done Wayne Hicks, not only am I a fan, I will be a life long follower and promoter of your work! Absolutely everybody needs to read this book, whether you have faith in God or not. This book clarifies so many things about the Truths that other books left me confused about. I forget now why I had to argue with myself about reading it! Although this book is a little over 150 pages, I read it in a day( and half the night. )

"But I tell you that all men are My sons, and all women My daughters, and I am their Father in the spirit, and do not require a sacrifice to love them."
I noticed a theme, and be it theme or the basis of Revlations, i thought Two thumbs up! Whether it be the purpose or not, I as a mom, connected 100 percent with many many many things I read in this book. Will definitely be reading this again and again.

I was raised Christian, and as I got into my youth I realized I didn’t enjoy reading the Bible as much because it was hard for me to understand and the words were hard to read, and because I stopped reading I stopped following. This booklet allowed me to read smoothly, and to understand each word I read.
This booklet is a great source for an easy understanding of a higher power. One thing I have never understood to this day is how God and Jesus are one yet different, in the first chapter of this book it explains it in a way I had yet to hear. That is what made me believe I HAD to read this book! If this book could bring light to my unknown I had to know what else it could shine light on.
In reading this I feel refreshed, and renewed! I absolutely loved this book, and I think I will read it weekly just to remind myself a faith in something greater gives me more purpose here in this life!

The New Revelation of Truth by Wayne Hicks makes things so much easier to understand. God only has one law, the law to love others. If you go by this law then the other laws that man makes would not need to be.

Wayne Hicks writes this book in a form that is easy to understand and easy to read. I like how he wrote this book. I myself don’t go to church, however I do believe. This book explains a lot on this point. I think this book would benefit several people to read who don’t completely understand or believe in God. I also know a lot of faithful people who I know would love this book and going to refer them to it.

I really wish the world would just love one another as God says to do. Our world would be a much better place, crime would down, and people would be much more pleasant. Wayne shows in this book that God loves us all unconditionally and that is all he wants us to do as well.

From the first page until the last, I enjoyed this book. It is easy reading and I found that it goes with the Bible.
I think the younger people will enjoy this book. It is easier to understand then the Bible. Of course I don’t think people should not read the Bible.
The things that the author, Wayne Hicks, brought out in this book are: We have to practice to use our Prayer. We will get better as we use it. I find that in my own life.
I also liked the part about: when men have learned the process of life, he must progress to the next. In other words, I think that the Author meant that we should learn and study everything about Him When He calls us home. The more we learn about God, the more our everyday life will be better.
The book talks of love one another. Only law that God gave to man! Love one another as you also love yourself. Even though there are many religions, there is but one Truth. I am God, your Creator.
The Author did a great job of writing this book. Good reading for all ages.

I myself am not a very religious person, for no reason in particular other than religion just wasn’t something I was raised with. I have picked up a bible several times throughout my life but quickly put it down getting lost with the words before even understanding a beginning! That is why I was truly astonished that I found this book not only very interesting, eye opening and intriguing but also so easy to read. As I began the book I wondered why I had decided to read it, but as I got further and further into it I was so glad I had! The simplicity of the reading, combined with the complexity of the meaning behind the text was a profound way to enlighten the reader of the true meanings of the bible, or at least the authors take of it. Wayne Hicks did a brilliant job emphasizing the want and desire of peace and love by God and the true intentions of all the acts given in the bible without making it into a text you could not understand. All in all this book was a wonderfully written piece with so much meaning I would recommend it to any one, religious or not. Well done Mr. Hicks.

This is a wonderful summary of Christian doctrine based on biblical revelations. Wayne Hicks successfully brought together the insights of several disciplines — biblical theology modern science, biblical criticism, historical theology, and the history of doctrine altogether to tell us exactly what the bible is trying to say to us. I really like how he developed a systematic theology that is biblically grounded and very well oriented. His work also spoke to me in a way I don’t think anything else could have; his way of explaining that we are all God’s creatures ; ie spirits that are all connected gave me great comfort after losing my daughter in 2012. Few theology books or authors for that matter are able to combine research with that ”down home” flavor that was extremely comprehensive and yet seemed to speak directly to my heart. I find that this would be a useful reference for a theology student, a preacher, or an advanced layman. I particularly loved how he mirrored the bible in format. This book will give every Christian hope and can only strengthen how we walk with God. There is something in here to challenge the scholar and encourage the beginner. It could even be used as a textbook in a religious classroom, and deserves to be in every church library and on every pastor’s desk.

It is a fascinating thing to think that our existence is due to a force that is greater than everything in this universe combined. Some individuals believe in science, others believe in nothing at all, but the majority of living beings in this world believe in a God. I, for one, am a Christian, I believe in the Lord and everything that has to do with him. I believe in his spirit, in his power, love, and his son, Jesus, whom was sent to earth and sacrificed to save us. As a Christian, my favorite and most important book is the Bible. We look back to it daily as a guide that will help us live our lives through the Lord and as he would like us to live our lives. Although this book is a big part to following the Lord, not everyone understands it and so they tend to close it up, put it away , and never open it up again. The book ”The New Revelation of Truth” by Wayne Hicks is an amazing book that explains what the bible is trying to say, but in a way that everyone can understand and relate.

To begin, The Revelation of Truth talks about God and explains that he is a spirit and we are all spirits made up of his. The first chapter of the book reminds me of the book of Genesis. The author, Wayne Hicks, explains how the earth and all of the creations on the earth were made. How God came up with the earth and it’s concepts. I feel that this book was just so clear about God’s plan and how we are all made up. It gives you a clear image of how the Lord came up with us and his plans for us. I was intrigued because it was such a simple way of explaining what people can’t understand just by sitting in there room reading a bible.

Furthermore, I love the way the author talks about how we are here to live in peace and harmony. It is true because the Lord wanted nothing more than to have his children living together in this masterpiece he created called earth. He wanted us to love one another regardless of anything. We are made to help eachother and depend on eachother to live as the loving and free flowing spirits he initially created us to be. I love how Wayne explains that we are all a piece of spirit taken out of God’s spirit. This book shows us how we often disappoint God because we do things that we were not created to do. God is perfect and powerful, and we were made in his image. Can you believe that? As the book talks about all of the events and stories about God seeing his people and watching them do what saddens him, I can’t help but to think about the world that we live in now.

To sum it up, I really enjoyed this book and am very eager to share it with my friends and family. I think this book will be able to help those understand God, the holy spirit, and his creations. This book helped me understand and taught me alot about what is expected of us as spirits of the Lord. I would have never thought of it this way but this book has made me see everything plain and simple for what everything around me truly is. We shall love, care, help, and live in harmony with eachother and our surroundings. For we were brought to this world to live our lives how the spirit (God) wanted us to live it. This is by far the best book I have read!

When my husband and I first met I wasnt an avid believer of God. I didn’t go to church or pray on a daily basis. I have come to believe in, not only God but myself as well. The word of God has giving me the strengths to grow to the person I have become. I have been reading a lot of books to learn as much as possible about God and His word, but this is by far the most intriguing book so far. It is very easy to read and understand the picture the author is trying to paint. Even if you are not a believer of God, it is still a good read. This book has made me see God in a whole new light! I would definitely read this book again and recommend it to anyone. AMAZING! I could not put this book down after I started to read it.

There are so many different religions that people follow by. I myself believe in God and know that He created all and that His spirit is also my spirit. God only had one law and that was to love others.
Some people like to do harm and lie to others. People like that end up taking others on journeys that are made of nothing but lies and make God seem as if He is greedy. I really enjoyed the way the author, Wayne Hicks, explained everything and linked it back to God and His spirit.
Praying is a great way to contact the spirit (God) and contact others to help you solve your problems. The wise men were the ones who spoke of God and not of lies. During that time period, priests tried to keep the wise mean silent and tried to make them look like they were bad people, but those who spoke to God knew the truth and spread the truth.
I believe this is an exceptional book that would greatly benefit all who read it. What else should life ever be about, aside from being able to not only love ourselves, but to love others and to help people to grow in their own spirit so that we can all have a better life!

This book “The Revelation of Truth” reads like the bible. This book gives references to God’s sayings and what His words mean to us. It has one wondering about the beginning of mankind and what man thinks about. It gives one a chance to get personal with God by detailing conversations between man and God with explanations for different aspects of ones reasons for being on earth and about the afterlife.

I enjoyed the way the book gives one a mental picture of what really might be going on in a persons mind when they are having a one on one with the almighty. It also classifies the different conversations that we may have about our spiritual self, and explains things very well about the impact of spirituality on oneself.

This truly is a must read book for everyone. It brings one closer to certain questions that we all have in our minds.

People have been arguing about which religion is the “true” religion for centuries. I really love the new perspective that Wayne has given to this argument. I found that his writing provided a window into God’s thoughts and reasoning. His insights are profound and potentially life changing. The idea that maybe all these religions are actually “true” as they all have the same foundation. His description of how man was created, from particles of God, and that we are all actually a part of God, casts a whole new light on the “religion” argument. Some people spend their entire lives searching for God and maybe never finding Him. Wayne suggests that they way to find God is to search within yourself, your soul, and not in a specific religion. I found “The New Revelation of Truth” to be an excellent resource for anyone that may be seeking spiritual guidance and understanding.

Review by: mpatrick on Feb. 02, 2014 :
The book Revelation of Truth is a book that is different than any other books I have read by this Author. This book forces you to think of what the possibilities are after death and out role in this universe. This book follows many of the concepts that I was taught in church as a child and now as an adult. God is love and is always with us and never leaves us. We have endless possibilities as long as we keep his love close to us. He speaks of our role as families and what is expected of us as a part of that family. The love of God is endless and he documents that in this book. He speaks of our eternal life and it is just that eternal. The book talks about how God loves you and that no matter what he is there for you. He shows us that we all are a part of him and that no matter what we do he still loves us unconditionally. Many people have their own beliefs of what will happen after death. Mostly because of how they were raised and taught to believe but this book is one that is a true eye opener on what the biblical stand point teaches. The documentation is this book is profound that it will make you look at things a little differently. You will think of what your role is here on this earth and what is to come after your physical death here on earth. You were created for a reason and this is a good starting point to learn of how to harness all the love that god has for you. You will read and understand how to find the love and draw closer to your family because after all family is love. learn to leave the past as just that and start with a fresh outlook and new beginnings.

I really enjoyed reading The New Revelation of Truth. It touched on many questions that I have always had questions about. How people were created and our purpose in life and what rules were made by man verses God are always important questions. That Gods main rule was to love each other and to never harm each another means a lot to me. How Wayne separated the questions to God from the person he was teaching and the answer being given and why. How he stressed that family was the most important answer and that we all should help each other really says a lot. Another question I have always questioned was marriage. I always wondered whether it was considered a sin to be in relationships with out a ceremony. Telling the roles that men and women played and what their responsibilities to each other and their family were. I think the biggest issues questioned is life after death or an end. Wayne was able to approach these issues and many more that religions are debating with no resolve ending. The way he ended the book explaining how we are created and what the process is after we pass on was very enlightening to me. Giving the thought that life is not at an end but was a learning experience to learn from for the next stage of life we will go through.
