I am a Great-grandmother with several unseen disabilities. My life revolves around my computer, my husband, my two dogs and my cat. We all live simply in the hill country, on our little patch of heaven in Tennessee.
I didn’t begin my years with aspirations of becoming a great writer. Writing stories is a relatively new thing in my life, but I have always been a writer, a letter writer. My sister used to call my fat letters to her manuscripts. How I wish I had them all, they would have made some great stories.
I was born to two artists, in St. Paul, MN. I have lived in many places. I would love to call them all “home.” Artists can live anywhere, and we did, literally, from Northern Minnesota, to Truth or Consequences, New Mexico, and Los Angeles, California to New York City with many places in between.
I am a storyteller. My English education ended over half a century ago. If you find errors, think of me as a simple spinner of tales and enjoy the stories for what they are, a grandmother relating a story to entertain as she sits in her porch swing, watching the deer in the meadow, with her dogs at her feet.
When I first began writing my Julia series, I had no idea that anyone could get so involved in their characters. I learned more history doing research and turned the series into a painless history lesson for anyone who reads the series. (Best read from Monroe Street, to gradually learn about her and her extended family) Immerse yourself!

Bad Things. The third book of the Julia series. No other title would fit.
After reading the first two books in this series, I was so caught up in the characters that I couldn't help but lament over the 'bad things' that came in book three. There's only one thing left to do...
Move on to book four....
