The Cannons at the Gate

Dedicated to his best friend and collie, Blackie, R. T. Brown relates an adventure where his dog takes on a role as a member of an elite military-style squad of covert agents that is charged with invading Siberia and destroying a fortress occupied by an enemy force of German shepherds. Failure is not an option. The rescue of 2000 nomads marooned on an Arctic island in winter is at stake.
