Zomblog presented a society in total choas with our hero Sam Evans dealing with it the best he could, people passing through and out of him. Zomblog II sees society with a closer and more effective bonding. Z II shows society with its best - and worst. Communities band together resembling mini cities. Organization and health care. On the other end of spectrum are the worst examples as in The Genesis Brotherhood. For those sin against their religion, cruxifiction. Indoctrination. Women barefoot, pregnant, & relagated to workers. The Genesis Brotherhood hasn't counted on one of their sworn enemies: Meredith Gainey.
For most of Z II she is pregant and getting bigger fighter presenting how far you can go with that combination. She leaves the baby with a loving couple. Armed and with friends around her, the attack on The Genesis Brotherhood begins in earnest. The question has to be answered: who is the worst of the lot - the mindless, shambling zombies or the worst side of human nature itself.
The story will continue in Zomblog III. Meredith Gainey is still with us and the lure appears to be Las Vegas.

A great follow up to the first volume. I found myself chewing on my nails more than once. Can't wait for the next installment.
