Outstanding! With beautiful prose, great pacing, and a gut-wrenching twist at the end, Kealan Patrick Burke has offered up another excellent short story. I will definitely be adding more of his work to my library.

Excellent. Great characterisation (especially given the length) and a great twist at the end.

I couldn't put this one down.. Very intriguing from beginning to end, and when I thought I had it all figured out, there was a another twisted turn right at the end.. Would definitely recommend to anyone, not only the book but the author too

Having not read another story from Kealen Patrick Burke, I wasn't sure what to expect. Underneath, though, can go down as a genre classic. The language is good and the plot-line is amazing, with a phenominal twist at the end. I will certainly be reading more of Kealen's books. Must read!
