This book is about the TV show, Ice dancing with the stars. Zara Pritchard was once a Olympic darling but she was very young and she made a terrible mistake. A mistake that not only made her lose her chance for a Olympic medal but also made her an outcast. So now she gives ice skate lessons at the local mall. But then she’s offered the chance of her life. One of the professional ice skaters of the TV show, Ice Dancing with the Stars, is pregnant so they’re looking for a replacement. Would Zara be interested?! Yes, she is!! This is the chance she is been waiting for. And she’s terminated to win this game.
But there’s just a little problem that’s standing in her way and that’s her celebrity partner TY Randall aka ‘Ty the MMA biter’.
Ty Randall is a MMA fighter and the last thing he wants to do is participate on some stupid skating TV show but his manager doesn’t give him much choice. After his last game where he has bitten in the other guy’s nose, his image has been damaged.
So now his plan is to do this thing and get away as soon as possible. But he didn’t counted on his partner who really wants to win this game. So you can imagine they don’t really make a good start when they meet. And the first couple of days sparks are flying around between them but then something happens and they make a truce. And then other sparks are flying around, more of the sensual sort. But is it a good idea to start something with your partner? That’s a big NO in sports but it’s very hard when you live together in a the same house and work together.
And what about the competition? Will this help their carriers?
Just like the first book in this series. I really enjoyed myself. It’s not a very long story but that’s what I personally like about this series. And I love the little interviews, confessions from the man pov that we read at the beginning of each chapter.
