I could not put this book down! This was my second Bunny Mitchel story and the first one ,The Farthing mark, was excellent but I loved this one even more! Great characters, Bunny's stories always hook me in right from the start and keep me right on the edge of my seat until the end.

The first of a series, and I await the next quite impatiently! This story gripped me right through to the end, and I just wanted to read more. Come on Bunny. Don't keep us waiting too long for the next book!

Second of Bunny Mitchells books I have read. Well written and polished. Very good read - plenty of twists and turns and good plot that keeps you guessing to the end. This book has good value and should be charged for. I have read the sampler to her next book 'Sweet Thunder' and am looking forward to the release.

This is a most incredible book. Plot - well developed from beginning to end, good pacing/flow; Characters - attributes that made them feel real; Twists and Turns - just the right amount and does NOT cause confusion nor give the ending away. The author did a really good job.
