Great book. Using smashwords was an easy way to get the book, too.

I've been a die-hard UT fan for many years, but for some reason I started to lose interest in 2009. Odd since UT was challenging for a NC that year. Anyway, I've been going to BarkingCarnival lately since they have the best collection of wise-asses and football junkies. The book is a good extension of the site - even-handed appraisals of UT, hilarious analogies (buy the book to find out which team "is a potential dumpster fire on top of a burning garbage barge sinking into a blazing chemical spill"), as well as some stats to geek-out on. I was entertained, learned some stuff about football, and got a vision of UT's scheme, players, and opponents.

Thanks, guys - my interest is back and I'm looking forward to the season once again.

Not just a treat for Texas fans, the gridiron power trio of Wadlington, Gerlach & Chilton will school you in all things college football; from X's and O's and coaching philosophies to what kind of Khaki's Mack Brown prefers to pee himself in come October in Dallas (wrinkle-free, moisture wicking Dockers).

And since it's an ebook, they can edit as the season goes along to guarantee 100% accuracy with all predictions!

You'll laugh, you'll cry (Trey Millard says hi!), and end up buying it for someone else.

It's the #1 selling book on Smashwords for a reason.

Also, the collective IQ of the authors exceeds that of any author of any book, digital or print, dating back to the Shang Dynasty.

I breezed through the other previews in a day or less, but this one took almost a week. That's not at all a comment on the tone or quality of writing -- both of which are outstanding -- but rather a matter of just how much information is imparted in this publication. Even if you're not *that* curious about UT football, this publication still has value. Repeating Paul's jokes always makes me seem funnier than I am, and repeating Scott's insights always makes me seem smarter than I am. I worry a bit about Jason, since he's supposed to be the business guy and this publication is grossly under-priced; but if Paul and Scott like him I suppose that's something.

Color me a very satisfied customer and put me down for $200 for the pre-OU Carnival Cruise fund.

These guys are my absolute favorite writers in their respective fields. I always shake my head as to how they can continue to come up with witty, hilarious, interesting ways to describe football. This book is no different. I recommend it to more than just Longhorn fans, or college football fans, but to anyone who likes excellent writing.

Written by some of the most intelligent, authoritative and insightful Horn authors in the business. Probably the best prose you'll read on the 2013 Texas Longhorns upcoming season anywhere - highly recommended.
