I'm not usually a reader of romance, but I enjoyed Quicksand by Diane Adams. There was much more going on in the story than just the attraction between Emily and the handsome "new teacher on the block," and that kept the pages turning, made the story interesting. I thoroughly enjoyed the mystery element in the story, I'm looking forward to reading more from this author.

I thoroughly enjoyed this book. I was intrigued by the characters from the very beginning and I really cared about them. This is a suspenseful book and I got wrapped up in the story and could feel myself experiencing a variety of emotional responses. It was a real page-turner for me!
