Joyce, what a beautifully written story this is, I enjoyed it very much. Very descriptive and I love the way you show and not just tell your story. This is obviously the beginning of a much longer work, I'm assuming a novel. I love that it is set in Singapore, one of my most favorite cities in the world. Thanks for sharing this. Marvin.
