Writing has always been an obsession of mine since times I can’t remember. I started off writing songs, then poetry, later I began forming stories as my imagination grew into a monster, but like everything else in my life, I had little education, and all that I have learned, I learned on my own. I taught myself to write ‘proper’ and studied Children’s Literature under the watchful eye of Shirley Raye Redmond who taught me a lot about story structure. But writing for children was not for me. I love horror. I love my children also, but I wanted to create something sinister, like my personality...(lol.)
I'd like to be a mix between Stephen King, and Rob Zombie. Edgar Allan Poe, and Jim Morrison. H.P. Lovecraft and Dr. Suess.

This was a good solid lovecraftian story of a man's horror filled night and the curse that befalls him.
As I've said in other Lovecraftian stories here on smashwords (mainly Michael Carter's who I recomend highly), I am not the best person to judge these as I've read only lovecraftian fan-fiction (though I have read quite a lot) and only the one short story by the man himself. That said this was done extremly well, the writing moving along nicely, keeping the reader enthralled throughout.
