Fergie Boy is a British author who specialises in gay erotica. His books are widely available on all major e-book and specialist erotica sites, published by his company – Firm Hand Books.
He was born and raised in the west of Scotland then moved to the south of England after graduating from university, living first in London before moving to the sanity of Brighton.
The author’s early erotica works were produced for a web site called Gay Boy Books, where he wrote under the name Fergie Boy. Subsequently these books were brought under the Firm Hand Books banner and made more widely available.
The author no longer writes under the Fergie Boy name. However, he does still write under...
This is the pen name under which most of the author’s work has been published. Jack Brighton books are orientated towards gay BDSM, some quite light, like the ‘Tales from The Wild Side’ series, other much stronger and darker. Whilst the nature of the material is different to that of Fergie Boy, the writing is still by the same author - and in his opinion, much more polished – the stories more involved and complete. Fans of Fergie Boy should try some out – Jack’s books can be found on all major sites.
Having published over twenty books by mid 2011, and created a clear niche in the gay BDSM market, the author decided to expand his reach once again. Not wishing to dilute the Jack Brighton body of work and perhaps confuse his loyal readers, or re-invoke Fergie Boy, a new pen name was created to write under. This was Tom Farrell.
Under the banner 'Flaming Hot', Tom Farrell's books fall into two categories: 'Flaming Hot Gay Erotica' and 'Flaming Hot Gay BDSM'. The distinction is hopefully very clear. Both collections are softer than Jack Brighton's normal work - the 'Erotica' collection much more so, being more comparable to Fergie Boy’s books. But it is still the same author - his ideas and his style. So if you like Fergie Boy's books then why not check some of Tom's work out.

The sex is fucking hot and the plot is realistic. That much the author got right. In fact the story was so right up my alley that I was willing to forgive the grammatically incoherent writing and British Englishness.
