This is edited from my earlier review. The author has since expanded the story.
The thing that compelled me to read it was the cover, so excellent job on that. The short story is about a creature that lurks in hiding to feed on something that will satisfy its appetite. There are definitely some wonderful horror elements in here that I especially enjoyed. And the ending was awesome. I enjoyed it and will check out more work from this author in the future.

Pretty writing =D
but... more of a poem than a story I would say, but whatever I still liked it.
It feels like a Prologue to a really good book, so... I'll see if that's actually the case and there is something following up to this.
If not... as I said: Great poetry.
