About Brenna St. Clare

Brenna St. Clare (1979- present) was born and raised in Maryland. Having married her high school sweetheart and still hopelessly in love, she is a romantic to the core but understands both love and romance don't come easy. Known for her razor-sharp wit, she loves to build heroines who are quirky, intelligent, and (eventually) iron-spined. And a girl like that definitely deserves a witty, super-hot hero.
A former English teacher, Brenna spends her days raising her two precocious daughters, writing, reading, and being the best darned military wife she can be.

I loved this book and the characters in it. The book was easy to read and witty, along with some hot sex scenes. Thank you for sharing and I hope to read more from you soon. Maybe a story on Scott and Eve.

The author sent me this book for an honest review.
I was very pleasantly surprised. Karis, the main character has dealt with one tragedy after the other. Then she meets Michael, while she's still in her last tragedy. Just that one chance encounter sticks with them both, until they happen see each other again 3 years later. Michael is still beautiful and sexy, but most importantly he is extremely patient with Karis, I really enjoyed the story. The supporting characters were great. Eve was aforce to be reckoned with. The only thing that bothered me was that Karis couldn't seem to get out of her own way, and she started to irk me. But she thankfully redeemed herself. It had a great plot, steamy scenes, and funny characters. Good read
