About Justine Crowley

Was a freelance writer for three years, and became a full-time independent freelance writer in her first six months as a freelance writer back in March 2012. As a result, Justine re-located to Sydney from Melbourne. Additionally, Justine turned down two book publishing contracts with traditional publishers as a result. In May 2014, Justine was awarded with her Doctor of Psychological Studies degree, and is now a natural medical doctor as a contractor, and in private practice. Justine is now working on her sixth manuscript. Her first four books published herein counted towards her thesis, among other online works in personal development.

Prior to becoming a freelance writer, Justine was a life/health coach and hypnotherapist helping people quit smoking cigarettes in one hour. On the back of this, Justine is still a certified practitioner of Neuro Linguistic Programming (NLP) and Hypnosis. Since leaving the freelance writing profession in June 2014, Justine has also undergone some additional study in hypnotherapy, and is now a registered and certified hypnotherapist in private practice with the American Board of Hypnotherapy (ABH), and with the International Institute of Complementary Therapists (IICT) in hypnotherapy, NLP and counselling. Justine is now a specialised clinician - hypnotherapy and NLP practitioner in the following areas:

* Pain Control and Management (preparation for medical, surgical and dental procedures).
* Weight Management (soon to include gastric banding)
* Stress Management and Overcoming Anxiety
* Bad Habits: from overcoming procrastination/completing unfinished projects, negative self talk, nail biting and overeating etc. Focus can also include the replacement of another activity from a once bad habit.
* Performance Enhancement
* Smoking Cessation
* Mental Health and Trauma Counsellor
* Personal Counsellor (general and values work)

Last but not least, Justine would like to thank her friends, family and clients for their amazing support during her freelance writing (now natural medical and consulting) career. As a result of this article submission, Justine has been appointed a health advocate for the site. As a result, she is looking forward to contributing as many articles as possible in 2015 and beyond on medicine and science for the benefit of other doctors, their patients/clients, and to the entire community at large.

Justine is pleased to have also been able to pay her respects to a great friend, of who was killed in the recent Martin Place Siege at the Lindt Chocolat Café in Sydney on the 15th and 16th of December 2014. Justine had the pleasure of knowing, interacting with and becoming friends with Tori Johnson during her time when she set up and ran the Sydney City Chocolate Walking Tour, of which her book - The Chocolate Walk (details below) was written in response to such work, before her calling as a healer came into fruition.

Awesome top notch book. Just brillisnt and hearty with heaps of content will blow you away like it did me. learnt so much about myself and my life. Is a long book, yet great to read anywhere on transport or at home if you can zones in. Generous and great inspiring writer highly recommeded great value for money cheers
