Cathleen Kelly is a Goddess of Light and Protector of the Woodlands to the North. Her love of nature and healing began at the age of four when she vowed to devote her life to helping people find ways of feeling “high” without the use of chemicals or drugs.
In 1982, Cathleen received her Bachelors of Science degree in Nursing from Keuka College and in 1998 realized her vision of healing by founding Holistic Horizons, a private nurse-healer practice devoted to healing on all levels of body, mind, and spirit. Nationally certified in Holistic Nursing since 1999, she now has over thirty years of experience in general medicine, intensive care, pediatrics, homecare, and Integrative Health. Based in the Adirondack foothills of upstate New York, Fiddlehead Grove Retreat and Healing Center assists both medical professionals and lay persons integrate aspects of healing, self-care, and intuition with traditional healthcare treatments using practical, self-help tools.
Speedy Greens Organic Restaurant opened in 2007 in an effort to bring healthy, healing food to the public. Fun but exhausting, Cathleen learned much from the restaurant’s clientele. Closing in 2011, it made an indelible mark on the community and its legacy remains in a cookbook.
The healing center is an NWF Certified Wildlife Sanctuary and offers a walking labyrinth meditation, hiking trails with interpretive signs, and green home tours of Terra Lumen, an environmentally-friendly log home. Services provided include Usui Reiki, Karuna Reiki, Reflexology, Toning, Pleiades Channeling, and Integrative Health Counseling.
Cathleen is currently studying for a Master’s Degree with Westbrook University.
She is author of The Rainbow Octave and Pleiades Child.
Enjoy your journey.
