A little rough but definitely readable. Could use a little more depth but should be a very good series.

This was a fantastic book, once you get past the begining... I,ll admit I almost stopped reading it thinking it wasn't for me, then the storyline picks up quick and I didn't want to set it down. I can't wait to see what happens in the next book.

Very enjoyable read. Good storyline pace, strong characters (The heroine isn't weak and whiny! The hero isn't an unlikeable jerk!) and an overall great plot. Sufficient explanation for the mythological elements provided without detracting from the story. Character development was robust; there are some secondary characters who definitely deserve a book of their own. Yes there were typos and a few misplaced names, but if that's the only complaint I have about a book then I'd say that's pretty minor.

The start is a little bumpy but keep reading. The characters develop as they get to know each other. The story pulls you in until you stay up late to finish it. This book makes me with I had a MFA instead of taking all that chemistry and math so I could help with a final edit and polish. I think it could be the next great series.

This book is good! But is this finished because the ending seems very abrupt.
