Lucky I downloaded this on a bank holiday as I read it in a single sitting! Strange but satisying combination of modern day police investigation with the occult and astral conflict - a whole new genre of crime fiction. A suprising ending. This works.

Unusual combination of a complicated police mystery in the present day, 16th/17 century roots to a story with occult implications today and ruthless astral warfare. It had me confused to the end but it's a good read
