One day, in the year 840 AD, an irrationnal terror pervades the streets. Three men and a woman were seen to "fall from the sky" from a flying ship. Lorsqu'en l'an 840 trois hommes et une femme descendirent d'un engin volant, place du Change (dans le 5ème arrondissement du Lyon actuel), une terreur immense s'empara des habitants. Ils n'eurent plus qu'une idée : détruire par le feu ces « sorciers » qui fréquentaient le peuple des airs. C'est alors que l'évêque Agobard décida d'intervenir.Remarque.
Patrick Huet a écrit cette histoire en se basant sur un fait totalement réel. Il reproduit d'ailleurs en fin de ce texte le document d'archives que chacun peut consulter, car reproduit avec toutes ses références.
