About D C Grant

DC Grant was born in England, but has lived in South Africa and New Zealand, which means a lot of travelling and getting used to different accents. Besides writing, other interests are rugby, target shooting and military history and, of course, reading.

DC Grant writes about sports, guns and battles, not always in the same book. In Too Deep is a young adult novel featuring Josh whose father loses the family home as a result of bankruptcy. The second book in the series Three Times Dead continues the story of Bevan who is dealing with the loss of his lower left leg in a motor vehicle accident. The third book, What Love Is follows the story of Bevan's girlfriend who discovers her great-grandmother's war diary.

In High Speed, a book for 8 – 12 year olds, Jason Shaw solves a mystery but places himself in danger while doing so. Where the Flag Floats, also for 8 -12 year olds, is an historical adventure book based upon the events of the shipwreck of the HMS Orpheus in 1863.

DC Grant lives in a New York style loft apartment with a slightly psychotic cat called Candy.
