SILENTLY ANSWERED PRAYERS
What a fun story where Holly, a young adult woman living and working in an orphanage received the opportunity to travel westward to be a Matron on an orphan train. Years prior she was supposed to go as an adoptable orphan along with her brother, but then she got a cold and was left behind. Now she is heading towards Golden, Colorado and Tommy. God seems to open the doors by her meeting Mrs. West whose husband runs the newspaper in Golden. She secures a temporary arrangement to stay at the West home and work as a seamstress. Jake Carson, the young man who adopted Tommy runs the mercantile. Tommy prayer has been for Jake and Holly to meet, fall in love and marry. Holly experiences her first real Christmas with Tommy and Jake becomes the best present ever. God always answers prayers in His own time.
