A review of Affinity the Soul Keeper by Crossroad Readers
"Affinity The Soul Keeper was a very intriguing story that captivated my attention from the very beginning and held it until the very end. It would be hard to describe what happens in this book without giving away too much. The beginning of this book does a very nice job of creating mystery where you’re not quite sure what is happening and makes you want to continue reading. There are quite a few elements of surprise throughout which I was not prepared for. I loved the storyline and the characters, especially Seth. I felt like the relationship between Elspeth and Seth was one of the strongest and most intense love stories I have read in such a long time! I honestly was not expecting such an intense love story when I first started reading this but that was probably my favorite part of this book. Despite some betrayal and the danger of being together, Elspeth and Seth were so devoted to each other and would risk everything they had to protect each other. I also loved the fact that while Affinity The Soul Keeper is a fictional story it actually made me start thinking about the concept of angels and demons and Heaven and Hell. There was only one complaint I have about this book and that would be that when it ended I wished that the next book was already available to read because I seriously can not wait to find out what happens! I would highly recommend this book to anyone because it is a great book that I think would appeal to a wide variety of readers!"
