If you want a predictable formula romance,‘Three Brides and One Guy’ is not for you. If you want an action packed explicit love story, with plenty of unexpected twists, passion, tragedy and heart-warming moments, read on. Cindy May throws the clichéd “girl meets boy, girl loses boy, girl and boy get together again” formula out of the window in this fast paced action romance that opens with rival Russian girls Tanya and Svetlana both of whom are in love with Allan Conroy, an English businessman in Chechnya.

18-year-old Tanya is distraught when she finds that her English fiancé has slept with a hotshot girl lawyer. It is only after she has kicked Allan out of her life that she realises that Svetlana had decoyed Allan into bed in order to break up their engagement as she too fancies the handsome young businessman.

With the break-up of the Soviet Union in 1991, the ethnic tensions that have been kept in check for generations by the ruthless hand of the Communist Party erupt into violence in many parts of the former USSR. Nowhere is more explosive than Chechnya, where a breakaway movement demands a fundamentalist Muslim state. The minority Russian community live in fear as Chechen gangs smash down the doors of their flats, hurl the men off high balconies, and violate and kill the women.

Before long, Tanya and her two younger sisters must flee for their lives. They make it to Moscow, but the only work open to them is at the tochka, where street whores are controlled by the underworld with the help of bent cops. Tanya is too proud to phone her ex-boyfriend but her sister Natasha does. Horrified at the news, Allan offers the girls a refuge in the Cotswolds. Soon Tanya is sharing her bed with Alan and her two younger sisters, Natasha and Olga.

Life then gets complicated. Svetlana rings. No longer the proud and scheming lawyer, her life has been torn apart and she is a soul in anguish. Will Tanya take pity on her, or repay her in kind? With both girls in Moscow, one is kidnapped and faces torture and death. Only if her former rival will put her own life on the line, has she a chance.

Sir Allan and Lady Conroy are now pillars of the community. Lady Conroy heads a charitable trust protecting abused women in Eastern Europe, but is Lady Conroy the gentle Tanya or her scheming rival, Svetlana?

Suddenly all hell breaks loose. An investigative journalist unearths the first of several skeletons in the family cupboard. Lady Conroy is brutally attacked, cancer strikes and a blackmailer is at work. The family’s survival depends on Abigail Conroy and her two daughters. Now 36 years old, Abby is the same ditzy blonde, but with a string of failed romances behind her.

As the twins were expelled from an expensive girl’s boarding school for trying to screw their way through the academic staff for a dare, are they an asset or a liability? With so much already going wrong, only Abby and her two nympho daughters could add to the chaos, but they meet the editor of a Porn Magazine! Soon there are raunchy photos to add to the mix.

Can the family pull through, or is disgrace and jail inevitable? Will the Conroy marriage survive the battering it is taking? Is Abby heading for another failed romance?
