Hope vanished, as did her desire to go on. She'd decided to end her life, but instead of the extravagant meal at a high dollar restaurant being her last, a mix up of names placed her life in the hands of the most virtuous man she’d ever met. An earthly angel named Garrett, who would show her that even she was worthwhile; a man who needed someone like Claire to help him piece together the shattered parts of his own life.

What an inspiring love story by Linda Boulanger. She does a fabulous job the setting the scene for unexpected love. I think there are things in her book that every man and woman can relate to. She makes the story believable and I could almost envision myself as someone like Claire. Truly uplifting and inspiring. I loved it!

Linda Boulanger certainly knows how to construct a romance. She starts with a troubled woman, Claire, and puts a kindly man (Garrett) in her path through a set of unusual circumstances.

"Arms of an Angel" is the story of Claire and Garrett's difficult courtship, and of Claire's personal issues. There's a lot of story crammed into this brief novella.

I don't want to give away spoilers; suffice it to say that at one moment I teared up, which surprised me.

What a delightful story! I have grown to love all the characters in this story. I especially adore Claire...her complexity, her hesitant reservoir of love, and the unexpected turns for her. Lovely, indeed!!
