About ~CRK

Thanks for the 100 downloads of "Flicker," everyone! It means a lot to me, and I hope you enjoy the story and continue reading! :) When each new free short story gets 100 downloads, I will upload a new one!

*UPDATE: I am currently working on finishing two kids' books! One is part of a series called the "Fancy Ladies' Club." These books will be coming soon, so please look for them!

My name is Claire Katsion, but you may call me ~CRK, which is my unique pen name for my equally-as-unique self. Not knowing where to turn in this hard world of publishing, I decided independent e-publishing would be the easiest way for me to get my foot in the door.
If you like my works, please feel free to download/buy them and to tell your friends!

Currently, I am working on promoting my first finished novel, which is called "Subtle, Flowing Changes." It is currently published here! I will also be getting it published in print with Kidpub Press (because Kidpub is dear to my heart) sometime next year.

If I had to describe my style, I honestly couldn't put it to words, so I hope you will read "Flicker," my first published short story (for free!) to get a feel for my style and wording.

Thanks for reading!

Inside SFC Notebook
This video shows an inside look at the original notebook for my first published novel, Subtle, Flowing Changes. I also show a bit of the original manuscript and some notes I made in it. This video gives some facts about SFC, its original story, and some info about characters and events (along with some reasons why certain things are that way). Sorry that the end is rushed due to spoilers I wrote

Review by: Titans on Dec. 22, 2013 :
This book is not only a gateway into ones past but also a foreshadow of the dilemmas one faces in High School. Cera’s life in one way or another can be applied to ones own life, making this book, a must read, for adults and teens, especially those in 8th grade.
I’ve reread this book and found meanings I’ve missed the first time. A telltale sign of a great book! I can hardly wait for the sequel Step by Step. Whether or not SFC becomes known world wide, it will ALWAYS be one of the best books I’ve read.

Review by: Patty Mayo-Katsion on Nov. 27, 2013 :
This book is that respite that is so desired after a long, hard day at work. It is a breath of fresh air. For adults, it is reminiscent of the innocence of high school. For adults and teens, it is a book that lets you be assured that it is ok to be different, to be innocent, to be caring. This book is a break from the status quo, the daily routine. So, sit back, relax, and let all of your worries leave you as you allow yourself to escape into the adventures of Cera.
