About ~CRK

My name is Claire Katsion, but you may call me ~CRK, which is my unique pen name for my equally-as-unique self. Not knowing where to turn in this hard world of publishing, I decided independent e-publishing would be the easiest way for me to get my foot in the door.
If you like my works, please feel free to download/buy them and to tell your friends!
Please enjoy my free content on this site and share my books with your friends and family if you enjoy them. It means the world to me that people are reading my books. And please take a few minutes to leave a review or short comment on the books or stories you enjoy. I love reading them; it makes me smile knowing my words touch others. My completed, professionally-edited novels will all be available for $2.95, and all minor books will be available for 99 cents. You can sample everything before you buy, so please consider purchasing my novels!

If I had to describe my style, I honestly couldn't put it to words, so I hope you will read "Flicker," my first published short story (for free!) to get a feel for my style and wording.

Thanks for reading!

In addition, I shall be adding prices to my books from now on because I am trying to pick up some extra money. Please be assured that the free short stories shall ALWAYS stay free. I promise. A new short story to add to the growing trend will be posted before the end of this year. Thanks for the 100 downloads once again!! Please stay tuned for more updates...

*NEW* As "Something" reaches 100 downloads for the current free short story installment, I have a little challenge to propose for the next free short story to be available for everyone to read. This time, I will publish another free short story if "Something" reaches 100 downloads and has two reviews from different customers as well as if one of my main novels gets two [additional] reviews by different readers. Please be honest in your reviews! I would love to hear feedback from my readers on what you think of the story or what I could do better for next time--or even if you'd like to see a sequel or not! Thanks for following my works and reading my books! Don't forget to send word on to your friends and family, too. E-books and E-readers make a good Christmas gift!

*Thanks for the 100 downloads/reads on The Adventures of Maryan! If we hit 250 reads/downloads, I will publish another Maryan book that will include bonus stories and more fun projects!*
*Thanks so much for the 50 reads/downloads of my first novel! I will try my best to finish the sequel and to publish it sometime early next year (around May 2015). As I do not hire any editors, I edit and proofread the documents myself, so that takes some extra time. Thanks for being patient. For now, please continue to support my novels!*

The Fancy Ladies’ Club, a book series for little girls (3rd and 4th grade)
Catherine becomes interested by becoming a fancy lady, and she starts a club with some friends.
Book 1 will be published sometime in November 2014
(Sorry for the wait; I am taking extra time to edit it and make sure it is of the best quality possible!)

Currently, I am working on my 2014>>2015 lineup of books.

Inside SFC Notebook
This video shows an inside look at the original notebook for my first published novel, Subtle, Flowing Changes. I also show a bit of the original manuscript and some notes I made in it. This video gives some facts about SFC, its original story, and some info about characters and events (along with some reasons why certain things are that way). Sorry that the end is rushed due to spoilers I wrote

Review by: Titans on Dec. 22, 2013 :
This book is not only a gateway into ones past but also a foreshadow of the dilemmas one faces in High School. Cera’s life in one way or another can be applied to ones own life, making this book, a must read, for adults and teens, especially those in 8th grade.
I’ve reread this book and found meanings I’ve missed the first time. A telltale sign of a great book! I can hardly wait for the sequel Step by Step. Whether or not SFC becomes known world wide, it will ALWAYS be one of the best books I’ve read.

Review by: Patty Mayo-Katsion on Nov. 27, 2013 :
This book is that respite that is so desired after a long, hard day at work. It is a breath of fresh air. For adults, it is reminiscent of the innocence of high school. For adults and teens, it is a book that lets you be assured that it is ok to be different, to be innocent, to be caring. This book is a break from the status quo, the daily routine. So, sit back, relax, and let all of your worries leave you as you allow yourself to escape into the adventures of Cera.
